All items purchased from our online store are delivered to the address provided during checkout. Depending on the destination, orders are fulfilled via Casa Atelier’s in-house messenger service (Dominican Republic) or international courier services. Please ensure all delivery details are accurate before completing your order.
Processing Times
Ready-to-Ship Items
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days after payment confirmation. Once packed and verified, orders are handed over to the corresponding delivery service.
Pre-Order Items
Pre-order pieces follow the production timelines indicated on each product page. Once items are in stock, they are immediately prepared and dispatched.
Seasonal Considerations
During peak periods, such as December or promotional seasons, processing and delivery times may vary due to high order volume and holiday schedules.
Order Cut-Off Times
Orders placed locally after 3:00 PM Monday–Friday will begin processing on the next business day.
Local & international orders placed on Saturdays or Sundays will be processed starting Monday.
You will receive a confirmation email, including delivery status updates, once your order has been handed over to the messenger.
Shipping Methods
Dominican Republic
All local deliveries are fulfilled via Casa Atelier’s messenger service.
International Orders
International orders are shipped via DHL, FedEx, UPS, or equivalent international courier services, selected based on destination, package specifications, and service availability.
Shipping Restrictions
At this time, we are unable to deliver to:
- PO Boxes
- Freight-forwarding addresses
- Hotels (exceptions may be approved by Customer Care prior to ordering)
Certain international destinations or products may be subject to import restrictions. Customers are responsible for verifying local import regulations before placing an order.
Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are typically:
- 2–5 business days, depending on destination and messenger availability
Delivery times are approximate and may vary due to weather conditions, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
International Orders
Estimated delivery times range from:
- 5–10 business days after dispatch
International delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to customs clearance and local carrier operations.
Shipping Fees
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed before payment.
- Local shipping fees are displayed in Dominican Pesos (RD$ / DOP)
- International shipping fees may be displayed in USD or local currency, depending on checkout settings
If your order includes multiple items (for example, ready-to-ship and pre-order pieces), deliveries may occur separately. Shipping fees will be charged only once, unless otherwise stated.
Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless explicitly stated.
All customs-related fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Casa Atelier has no control over customs assessments, delays, or clearance decisions.
If a shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned due to unpaid duties or failed customs clearance, original shipping costs and any return shipping fees are non-refundable.
Customer Responsibility at Delivery
Upon receiving your order, please verify:
- That the number of parcels received matches the delivery note
- That the packaging is intact, sealed, and undamaged
Any inconsistencies or visible damage must be reported immediately at delivery or within the timeframe outlined below. Where permitted by applicable regulations, once delivery is accepted without exception, no later claims regarding the external condition of the package can be accepted.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Casa Atelier is not responsible for delays, losses, or failed deliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate address information provided at checkout.
Shipping information cannot be modified once an order is placed, as orders are processed automatically.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery at info@shopcasaatelier.com and include:
- Clear photos of the packaging
- Clear photos of the damaged piece(s)
- Your order number
Our team will assess the case and follow up accordingly.
Order Documentation
Each order is accompanied by the appropriate purchase receipt, provided digitally via email in accordance with applicable regulations.
Invoices are issued based on the information provided at checkout. Once issued, billing details cannot be modified.
Cancellations
Once the order confirmation email has been issued, orders cannot be canceled.
You may request support only if the item arrives damaged and complies with our Return & Refund Policy.
